P.A.W.s: Personal Assault Weapons
1990-1993

 


From a series of nineteen prop weapons designed for various live-action role playing games at Sci-fi conventions and demonstrations.  PAWs made from found objects.


Gingerbread T.R.I. Headquarters
1993


"The Ramsay Institute"
Gingerbread sculpture, with plastic toys.  Cake icing and various candy decoration.

 
Winter Wonderland as happy employees arrive at the cloning facility... Notice the heliport for Dr. Ramsay?


DewVak-1: Automated Co-Pilot
1991

 
Modified mannequin torso with head, made from a plastic skull kit and Cell-u-Clay.  Steering arm.  Ornamented with camera, typesetting lenses, various lights and gauges.  "Corinthian Leather" bib.  Radio controlled servo motors raise, lower and turn head.  Dry-ice cooled soda compartments.


DewVak-1 with it's spiffy Corinthian Leather and flashing lights.
(As seen in my one-man show.)


Cyberwear 2
1989-1991


"Helmet-Cam"
Recycled helicopter helmet, painted with Letraset lenses attached to surface.  Rewired earphones to amplified microphone on top of helmet.


"Cyber-Cam"
Gutted 1980's Panasonic video camera, rewired for miscellaneous flashing lights and strobes.


"Cyber Space Deck"
Allows cyber-surfers instant virtual access, through a wireless DNI-link.
