Welcome. My name is Kimberly. This image gallery is dedicated to my pet parakeets. I affectionately call my birds "nubs", because they are small, feathery lumps. All my "nubs" have brought much happiness into my life. Each one has a different personality, but they're ALL adorable. I will frequently interchange the words: "parakeet", "budgie" and "nub" on this site. Please enjoy your stay here, and thanks for visiting!

Steiff Fanzi Parakeet (Tag #057656). Hand-crafted in Germany (1998).
Soft, Trevira velvet with airbrush detailing. Plastic beak and feet.
Notice the distinctive yellow Steiff tag with embossed button on wing. A carefully detailed crafted work of art.
Straight on, Franzi is really skinny compared to Pee Wee!

Nice change in coloration, especially on the tail.

The yellow Steiff tag is a bit different, and this Fanzi is more of an aqua blue.
He is a well-loved addition to my collection.
